APK®-CM Beam Shoe
The APK®-CM beam shoe provides moment-stiff beam-to-column connections for industrial and commercial concrete frames. APK®-CM beam shoes are used in moment-stiff beam-to-column connections of industrial concrete element frames. The beam shoes are also suitable for heavy-duty concrete element frame connections in office, commercial and public buildings. The APK®-CM beam shoe is manufactured in accordance with SFS-EN 1090-2:2018 and is designed according to the requirements of the European standards.
The connection consists of a prefabricated beam shoe that is installed in the beam’s element formwork before casting. The column element has an anchoring bolt corresponding to the shoe as well as rebar coupler connection pieces. The connection can also be used to form continuous moment-stiff beam frame structures in the concrete element frame. The beam shoe anchoring bolts are ALP®-P2S and ALP®-P2SM.
