Surface Evaporation Retarder & Curing Acid

Screed Cure ER is an evaporation retardant and finishing aid that helps produce a high quality, crack and dust free concrete surface. It helps reduce surface moisture evaporation, regulates the surface condition of the screed and does not interfere with any subsequent process. It is especially effective in combating rapid drying conditions (high concrete and/or ambient temperatures, low humidity, work in heated interiors during cold weather, etc.). Screed Cure ER is spray applied and quickly forms a very thin protective barrier layer on the surface of the screed and functions by retaining the hydration moisture within the freshly placed screed. Screed Cure ER gives a cementitious floor screed a better finish with less work. Screed Cure ER reduces and in many instances, eliminates plastic shrinkage cracking and sponginess of cementitious floor screeds.
